Applied Fiberoptics began producing glass fiber for use in surgical devises in 1970.  Our technological advancements provide out customers with a wide range of durable, high-performance cables.  This comprehensive line is compatible with many existing lightsources, headlights and instruments.

Patented Strain Relief provides a gentle radius of curvature at the end fitting, reducing sharp angles and minimizing fiber breakage. 

Highly Polished Epoxied End Fittings ensures maximum light transmission. Proprietary high-temperature epoxy reduces the risk of cable and burning. 

Hospital Grade Silicone Tubing provides less resistance to fibers than rubber tubing, resulting in fewer broken fibers and a longer-lasting cable. 

Color Coded in 12 Different Shades including black, clear, gray, green, light blue, navy blue, orange, pink, purple, red, yellow and white. 

Hermetically Sealed Cable allows flash autoclaving. Because the cable is manufactured as a totally closed system, moisture from autoclaving is unable to penetrate and damage the glass fibers. All cables can be sterilized at 270o F for 3 minutes.
