Applied Fiberoptics (AFO) is a twenty-five year old company manufacturing a complete line of fiberoptic illumination technologies. From its conception, AFO has maintained a respected and innovative position in the marketplace for quality, design, and manufacturing. The current product line consists of a complete line of fiberoptic cables, specialized surgical headlights, xenon & halogen lightsources, illuminated instruments, and rigid endoscopes.

AFO is a privately held company that is continuing to set the standard in "coldlight" illumination. AFO's focus is to offer a combination of new products and strategic marketing programs that will enhance the current product groups. This will ensure the continued growth and success of this company as it pursues its goal of becoming the primary provider of fiberoptic illumination products for the surgical market.

This line of products is excellent for the new equipment market, but should not be forgotten in the replacement market. Three of the lightsources have universal turrets and can accommodate other manufacturers' cables and instruments. The fact that we manufacture any cable type allows us to solicit business as a primary vendor for all replacement cables.

Vitalcor, Inc. is a privately held company located in Westmont, Illinois and provides the sales, marketing, and distribution for a number of specialty medical device manufacturers. In addition to marketing and distribution agreements, Vitalcor acquired worldwide sales, marketing and distribution rights to Applied Fiberoptics in late 1997.
